The Centre of Legal Education is a private law college in Puducherry. It is part of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, and is one of the best equipped institutions in the city for legal education. The college offers both a 5-year B.A.LL.B degree program and a 3-year LL.B degree program.

Eligibility

H.Sc /Equivalent (Academic Stream) A pass in the Higher Secondary Course (10+2) or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to and fulfilling the following requirements.

Eligible subjects studied in the Qualifying Examination

Any degree under any discipline.10+2+3 stream alone are eligible

B.A., LLB (Hons.)

General information about the courses

B.A.LL.B (Five Year Degree Programme) is spanning across five years and ten semesters. This programme is offered for those who have completed 10+2. This programme is a combination of the Bachelor of Arts Degree and the Bachelor of Law Degree. It deals with both humanities and law subjects.

LL.B (Three Year Degree Programme) can be pursued after graduation which is spanning across three years and six semesters.

Students are taught theoretical subjects as well as given practical works such as project, internships, moot court practice etc. which is helpful in practising law in courts of law and other avocations.
